UO Evolution is the flagship custom Ultima Online freeshard, online since 2010. Designed around the idea of having a public shard to further the development of the RunUO Emulator, in an effort to provide an enhanced version of the original UO game. Over the past 12+ years, UO Evolution has built one of the strongest, most supportive game communities and has become the #1 custom freeshard.

The shard incorporates the best aspects of the original AOS, SE, ML and SA expansions plus extensive custom content. All original OSI maps are included with fully spawned facets: Tokuno, Ter Mur, Underworld, and Stygian Abyss. Several facets are completely custom with new adventures and quests.

Over 100 custom castles, cathedrals, and dungeons. Custom champion spawns (Pirate, Bio, Mithril Dragon, Empirial Dragon, Crafter). Animal Breeding with trait systems, Bioengineering Pets, Golem Crafting, Archaeology, and 150+ quests. Custom Spells System including Druid, Cleric and Spellweaving.

Public PvP champion events run daily at 6pm.
