Origin Aion is a 4.6 patch private server launched in January 2024, run as a hobby project rather than a commercial operation. The project has grown into one of the larger active 4.6 communities outside EuroAion, with a focus on the patch that many long-time players consider the peak of the live game before the systemic changes in 5.0.

Reason for the version: Tiamat's Stronghold and the upgraded Abyss systems available at 4.6 deliver the largest content set of any pre-5.0 patch while preserving the classic Aion PvP feel before the 5.0 reworks.
